Ian Poulter has announced that the 2016 Junior Invitational held at Woburn Golf Club will not be running this year. Due to the professional golfing tournament timetable being moved around he will no longer be able to attend the event this year. Here is what Ian had to say

This week Ian Poulter has been spending some quality time with his family on the snowy slopes in Park City, Utah. He spent some time skiing there over the Christmas period last year and it looks like it's becoming one of his favourite past times.

Ian Poulter's has made his way back into the top 25 in the World. He finished just two shots shy of a win at the Crowne Plaza Invitational last week, finishing in a tie for 5th place which has put him in 24th place in the Official World Golf Rankings.

Brooks Koepka held off a spirited challenge from Ian Poulter to win the Turkish Airlines Open by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The American carded a flawless closing 65 at the Montgomerie Maxx Royal to finish 17 under par, one shot ahead of Poulter, who missed a birdie putt from six feet on the 18th to force a play-off.

Ian Poulter finished this years US Open Championship in a very respectful 17th place after four steady rounds of 70, 70, 74, 70. He posted ten birdies over the four rounds and after playing his first 9 holes in 3 under on the final round had moved up into 9th place. His Sunday charge came to an end with bogeys at 11, 12 and 15 but finishing T17 has given Ian more points towards his 2014 Ryder Cup campaign.
